Currently, the Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) industry is experiencing significant growth globally. It is driven by the increasing demand for clean and sustainable alternatives to traditional fossil fuels, particularly in transportation and industrial sectors. HVO offers a promising solution as a renewable diesel substitute, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and enhanced environmental sustainability.
Several factors are propelling the expansion of the HVO market. Stringent environmental regulations aimed at curbing greenhouse gas emissions are encouraging industries and governments to adopt cleaner fuel options. Additionally, growing consumer awareness and preferences for eco-friendly products are driving the demand for HVO.
The future outlook for the HVO industry appears promising. Market projections indicate continued growth as advancements in technology lead to more efficient production processes and increased scalability. Moreover, ongoing research and development efforts are focused on expanding feedstock options and enhancing the performance characteristics of HVO fuels.
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) can be produced from a variety of raw materials containing triglycerides and fatty acids. These are usually vegetable oils, animal fats and various wastes and by-products from the processing of oils and fats, such as used cooking oil (UCO), fatty acid distillates, acid oils, etc.
Thanks to our extensive experience in oils and fats refining, we can offer HVO pretreatment solutions with capacity from 50 TPD to 2,000 TPD. Myande HVO pretreatment technology can efficiently remove metal ions, chloride ions, phospholipids and other impurities in vegetable oil, animal fat and used cooking oil (UCO).
The pretreated oil meets oil quality required for HVO feedstock. Successful application in the industry ensures the reliability and advance of the process.
